Yōtarō Hanabusa (花房 葉太郎 Hanabusa Yōtarō) is one of the last remaining knights belonging to an international organization of knights on a tiny island, called Knights of the World, it is known throughout the world. Aside of being a knight, he yearns of living a normal life lifestyle. He uses a mask to hide his identity as a Knight (This also earned him a nickname from Makio). He also has the tendency to act like a knight regardless of the situation which he calls the "White Knight Syndrome" due to his harsh lifestyle with a very angry maid to become a knight he has to with-hold the "White Knight Syndrome". He is currently living in Makio's Estate with Makio, Yufeng, Yoriko, Alice and Shirohime, his trusty steed.
Appearance[]
Yōtarō is always wearing a really light orange colored uniform with brown boots. In some moments of the anime his uniform is white. The top has 4 gold buttons on both sides of the hips, and 2 on the arms.At the zippers and at the ending of the tops arm are red lines. Under that there can be seen a black shirt. It can be seen that the ending of the pants aren't insidethe boots but they are folded above it.
Personality[]
Yōtarō is a very kind hearted soul toward every person near him. He has the White Knight Syndrome.
Etymology[]
- The name Yōtarō means "leaf, plane, lobe, needle, blade, spear, counter for flat things, fragment, piece" (葉) (yō), "thick, big, great" (太) (ta) and "son" (郎) (rō).
- Yōtarō's surname Hanabusa means "bunch of flowers" (花房).
